He was the advisor to and founder of The PFI Infrastructure Co, which in 2004 became the first publicly traded company in London dedicated to investment in social infrastructure. Andrew has worked in a senior capacity involved in the financial sector for over 25 years. He was previously Co-Head of Capital Markets at Societe Generale in London. He has also been actively engaged in other property activities in the UK and internationally. He is a chartered accountant.

Tom is also a director of Beaufort Capital Management Limited, a UK mezzanine investment manager, and was formerly a solicitor at Norton Rose Fulbright, specialising in corporate finance and investment funds.

CEO, Social HousingPaul is the Chief Executive Officer within the Social Housing strategy. Paul has worked in all aspects of Social Housing for over 20 years and is a senior industry figure. From 2008 to 2014, Paul was Chief Executive of Homes for Haringey, a Registered Provider, where he was responsible for 800 staff and 21,000 homes. The organisation was awarded ‘Housing Organisation of the Year’ in 2012 and gained Investors in People Gold. For eight years prior to this, Paul was a Director at Hyde Group, a major G15 Housing Association, which provides homes and services to more than 95,000 customers. Throughout his career, Paul has been responsible for leading the acquisition of several thousand properties in London and the South East, with the primary purpose of extensive physical, social and economic regeneration. Paul has been responsible for investing several hundred million pounds into Social Homes. During his career, Paul has also held a variety of non-executive roles in and out of the sector and the Chairman of Thames Valley Charitable Housing Association which established a successful private rental sector business funded by equity and debt through various institutional investment funds.

DirectorChude is a director of the CIM and Chief Operating Officer and co-founder of Ledbury Capital Partners LLP, a European fund manager (the AIFM). Prior to Ledbury, he was director of international operations and a partner at Eton Park International LLP between 2007 and 2012. At that time, Eton Park was a $14 billion multi-strategy hedge fund, where he oversaw international non trading operations. Prior to Eton Park, Chude was a Partner and Chief Operating Officer of DE Capital Management LLP, and Head of Operations for Caxton Europe Asset Management Limited and was responsible for building their international operations infrastructure out of their London office. Before working in the investment industry, Chude had various roles at HSBC USA, RBS and Merrill Lynch within operations. Chude received a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from the London School of Economics in 1993, and a Master of Laws (LLM) in International Business Law from the University of Manchester in 1995. He also studied at the College of Law (Chester) between 1995 and 1996.

DirectorNick is an accomplished senior executive and housing professional with almost forty years’ experience in the Social Housing, charity and care sectors. He brings a wealth of experience and specialises in housing with care for older people, organisation and governance in housing organisations. Nick was Chief Executive at the ExtraCare Charitable Trust from 2010 to 2015. ExtraCare is a leading UK developer and operator of affordable retirement villages with locations throughout the north and midlands. New villages were opened in Birmingham, Gloucester and Milton Keynes under Nick’s leadership, and a development pipeline was established for new villages in Bedford, Solihull, High Wycombe and Bristol. Nick travelled widely in this role, speaking several times in Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong and South Africa. In the past, Nick has also been the vice chair of ARCO (Associated Retirement Community Operators), where he still chairs the Standards Committee. Prior to ExtraCare, Nick was Group Director (Housing) at Sanctuary Housing, one of the UK’s largest Housing Associations, responsible for the management of the Group’s 56,000 social homes. Previously, he was CEO at Hereward Housing from 1992, a stock transfer landlord in Cambridgeshire, and vice chair of the National Housing Federation. Nick is currently the Chairman of Tower Hamlets Community Housing, which owns and manages over 3,000 homes and also chairs the Hundred Houses Society, which owns and manages over 1,000 properties in Cambridge and surrounding area.

DirectorPhil is a specialist real estate consultant with over 33 years’ experience in institutional investment management. As Client Portfolio Director, Phil was responsible for Aviva Investors institutional real estate clients and the development of the Aviva Investors institutional real estate fund management business. He had a particular focus most recently on real estate multi-manager (REMM), successfully expanding this business from the UK into the Netherlands and Return Enhancing and Liability Matching (REaLM) and long income capabilities working in a variety of alternative real asset sectors. Phil joined Aviva Investors in 1988 and initially worked on the Central London office portfolio. In 1989, he progressed to running a segregated client mandate moving onto the pooled pensions fund in 1992 where he subsequently became fund manager. In 1997, Phil set up the real estate multi-manager service and was fund manager until 2005. Phil also held the position of risk manager responsible for all pension fund multi-manager and segregated client mandates. He has worked extensively with investment consultants and clients and advised public sector, corporate pension fund and other financial institutional clients. As Head of Institutional Property Funds from 2000 to 2005, Phil was responsible for all external pension fund direct and indirect client mandates. He has been an experienced director and Chair of the Investment Advisory Committee for all REaLM funds. Previously, Phil worked for Legal & General Investment Management for five years focused on property asset management, investment and development. Phil holds a BSc (Hons) in Land Management from the University of Reading. Phil is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) and has been an FCA Approved Person for investment management and customer functions. Phil was also a past committee member of the property panel for the National Association of Pension Funds (NAPF, now PLSA).

Prior to Civitas, Siu-Wai was Partner, Global Head of Product Development and member of the Executive Committee at BlueBay Asset Management, an alternative fixed income manager. Siu-Wai has significant expertise in bringing products to market and building business platforms in both public and private asset classes. She is a seasoned investment fund director and has in-depth understanding in corporate governance issues. Siu-Wai started her career with Mercer Investment Consulting in Hong Kong before moving to London, subsequently joining JPMorgan Asset Management. Siu-Wai is a Chartered Financial Analyst and an INSEAD certified International Director. She is a Trustee of the National Youth Choirs of Great Britain and an Investment Committee member of the Salvation Army.

During her 5 years at WeWork, Mary gained extensive experience in the regulatory and legal complexities of the key European markets. Mary is a qualified real estate lawyer. She began her career at Jones Day Gouldens and latterly she was Of Counsel at SJ Berwin where she advised major developers, landlords and tenants including The Crown Estate, Axa, British Land, SuperDry and Marks & Spencer. She is an active member of Women Talk Real Estate, Real Estate Women and Women on Boards.

During his 17 years at Pradera, Simon was also a member of Pradera’s executive committee, country head for Turkey, acquisitions manager for the Pradera Central & Eastern Fund and asset manager for the Pradera European Retail Fund. Simon is a member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors.

Victoria has extensive experience of advising numerous NHS Trusts and other healthcare bodies in London and the South of England in all aspects of their property requirements including projects, acquisitions and disposals, site developments and complex underletting requirements, strategic estates rationalisation and overage, landlord and tenant matters and NHS Estatecode. Victoria has been lead assistant on a number of large projects, including recently a new build radiotherapy centre, an incinerator project, and the biggest national public sector leasehold acquisition project between 2009 – 2010. Prior to specialising in the healthcare sector, she acted for private sector and commercial organisations and property companies on similar matters.

She is a fellow of the ICAEW.
